I was just checking out imdb, and I dunno when it came out, but on the main page, they're talking about a Robocop dvd trilogy, with heaps of extras n shit...
1 & 2 are worth having, as a young guy, they were a couple of my favourite action/sci-fi's...and, yknow, 3 wasn't so bad that I'd never wanna watch it again.
I was at the local Best Buy just yesterday [here in the states] and they had it for something like $35 or $40. I agree that the first and second were very good,I don't really remember the third.Didn't they get another actor to play Robo-Cop.

Yeah, they did.
The guy in #3 just didn't pull it off as convincingly...he just wasn't right.
I don't remember 3 much either, 'cept there were some ninja robot guys, and that Lewis (?) his female cop friend got all shot up.
I always wondered - it looked like she didn't get shot up half ad bad as he did in the first one...they couldv'e made her a robo-chick, but they didn't.
There were 2 other (well, one, but in 2 parts) movies made later on, but I think they were based on the series, I saw one and didn't think much of it at all, I think it was called "crash and burn"
- CRAP.

It's because she wasn't shot up as bad that they didn't robo-cop her. Her body was still more or less in one piece
Freddy Krueger.

Personaly, I wouldn't. But they were pretty good movies, even though I don't ever watch 'em anymore. But if you like the movies, you should buy it.

Yeah, I think will Krueger, I kinda grew up with 'em.
Good point Sam, but I still woulda liked her to have been kept alive in some form or another...you'd think if they could do ALL that to Murphy, they'd be able to hook her up with some robo-insides n' all.
Let's see, if it was a video-game, she could appear in his H.U.D?
Guess I just though it sucked that she died.
Speaking of videogames, did anyone get around to playing the latest robocop FPS?
How 'bout this one, what do you guys think was the best robocop game ever?
They haven't been great, that's for sure, but I think I'd go with Robocop vs Terminator on sega 16-bit. The first and second arcade ones were "ok"...but I couldn't play 'em for long.

I miss the old Robocop arcade game... Jesus that was a while ago..
I dont know if i would ever refer to Robocop 2 as a "good" movie, but it was enjoyable. I love it when that rotten little shit gets gunned down. How the hell are we supposed to feel bad for that sadistic little fuck just because he is a kid? Little bastard.....
I have avoided 3 like a disease. It represents much that i hate about sequals, especially straight to video ones.

One WAS definately better than Two, agreed, and yeah, the little shit had it coming.
As far as #3 goes, if you didn't like the second one, you were probably right to avoid it.
I hate cast-changing shit too, if that's part of what pisses you off about sequels...

I never bothered to go that far.
So all I can suggest is that you try multiple angles and points systematically, try once with each weapon in turn, if you've already tried that, guess you're fucked...
