Every once in a while I remember I have an orphan internet radio station streaming Halloween music 24/7. Long timers here remember my flagship station, NeverEndingWonder Radio. This station was a side offering full of offbeat Halloween themed music.

It started out as all comedy and comedy music, but over the years it became infested with a lot of other stuff, notably a lot of rare and obscure authentic rockabilly from the mid 50s-60s when the nation was obsessed with monsters and the space race. That obsession was mirrored in the music. There's also more modern music by Astro Al, Veronique Chevalier and other indie artists. It's just a real unique mix of mostly lighthearted music appropriate to Halloween time. Since the season is approaching, I thought I'd remind folks it's out there.

Here, here. I enjoy Welcome to Weirdsville year 'round. It's on 24/7, commercial-free, and will probably outlast us all!

Speaking of which: hearing through the grapevine that there might *finally* be some retooling/updates on NeverEndingWonder radio this fall??

No. No time to type out 1600 tracks, with another 1600 on the way.

3200 Halloween songs? Are you sure you didn't accidentally add 5 or 2500 Xmas songs? I suppose I'll have to tune in to figure out what exactly is happening here.

The late NeverEndingWonder Halloween Radio had over 20, 000 tracks- songs, horror soundtracks, movie trailers, sound bites and much much more. The new Welcome to Weirdsville will eventually have around 2500 or so. Not as deep as NEW was- but a more focused playlist, but still worthy
