Take away the swords and the web, what is the difference between this guy and Spiderman?

He's batshit insane for a start.

It'll be interesting to see if they pull it off. The comic has lots of dark humor and violence compared to the other Marvel stuff. Hopefully they don't tone it down for the kiddies.

He kills people... happily... and breaks the fourth wall like a mofo. Oh, and he doesn't seem to die.

Anything that starts with Gwen Stefani and ends with decapitation is ok in my book.

It turns out that the interest in the test footage has started a push to get FOX interested in this project again. :D

Yes. Yes I'm very excited. I love Ryan Reynolds and have honestly been waiting for the right vehicle for him... He's not the World's Most Talented Actor BUT I think he's really funny... He was great in Van Wilder and Waiting and I was hoping that he would find a niche within that brand of 20-something naughty comedies. I'm excited to see him flex his comedic chops here.

Plus, damn, boy is easy on the eyes. ::love::
