I'm new to this place, so not really sure where to put this :P

A couple months ago, I started a channel where I review and react to horror movies. My channel name is The Jigsaw Critic (because the Saw series is my favorite horror series). I review all sorts of horror movies: new, classic, indie, foreign... I made this channel (and joined this site) to introduce myself to new horror movies that I'd otherwise never hear of. Like I said on my noob thread, I have 53 subs so far, and feedback is appreciated.

Oh, thanks. I've never really met someone my age who is so passionate about film :P
What really sparked my interest for cinema is the fact that I like to research a lot. The film that got me into horror was the original Halloween, and I loved it so much and wanted to know a lot about it. That film led me to others which led me to the more obscure films... then somehow I found myself looking at the IMDb page for "She Wolves of the Wasteland".

And I don't believe that I look even remotely good. However, I have noticed that people that look ugly when they're younger somehow look really good when they're older... I just try to stay optimistic lol

Hey Horrorcrux. I agree you've been giving out too many 5 stars. To curb this grade inflation, I think it would be fun to review some BAD horror films and make fun of them MST3K style. I know life is too short to not watch great movies (though some are so bad they're good) but I do think it would drive up the overall entertainment value of the reviews.

I try to review movies that I haven't really heard of or haven't gotten good reviews (like I'm doing the Purge later in the month, and I have One Missed Call, V/H/S, Mirrors, and Playback lined up for the future), but I usually end up liking the movies I watch. Like Burning Bright and The Tunnel, I didn't want to like them, but I thought they were well-made.

I'm reviewing mostly movies I haven't seen at all this month except for American Psycho, The Ring, and The Purge, The Purge which I gave a 4/10. I'm pretty sure the movies I have for October and November are mostly movies I didn't really like when I watched them.

Also, an A or A- doesn't mean 10/10. The only rating that means 10/10 is an A+, something I haven't given out since my new rating system. I sort of briefly go over it in my Burning Bright review, which I've already shot and edited, in case you're wondering.

I've been thinking for the past month very hard... I don't wanna do this anymore. It's not fun, and it's taking up too much time. It's giving me stress that I won't have time to watch a movie and film and edit a video too. I've been thinking recently about starting this channel again, but now for something completely different.

I got this idea months ago when someone suggested that I compare originals and remakes to each other, and I would like to make that as what I do on my channel, and not just horror movies either. I would do stuff like Willy Wonka vs Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Total Recall 1990 vs 2012. I would upload videos every 2 weeks. What do you think, and do you have any suggestions for channel names?
