Via Shock Till You Drop (http://www.shocktillyoudrop.com/news/361077-comic-con-rodan-mothra-ghidorah-godzilla-2-invades-hall-h/) from the ongoing Comic-Con:

Legendary Studios got the audience riled up by showing off a sizzle reel featuring what the Godzilla universe has in store. A video played to the crowd that teased something called “Section 8″ which paved the way for other monsters that fall into this category…

RODAN, MOTHRA and GHIDORAH.

After trotting out teaser imagery for these three, words splashed onto the screen that read “Let Them Fight.”

Legendary’s Thomas Tull told the audience that Toho is cooperating with Legendary and it sounds like they’ve got the rights to reimagine these monsters for future Godzilla films!

Get excited.

I do want to note that the Edwards video ended with a shot of Godzilla rising out of the ocean and stepping onto Alcatraz before issuing a mighty roar.

I think they're ushing things. Why not do a slow build up like the original Japanese movies?Hasn't Hollywood learned anything from Spiderman that cramming villains into a movie isn't a good idea? They should've done a sequel with one of them and then added more as they went. But of course all they care about is big monster fights instead of plot.

That's Hollywood for ya.
They rather produce Pacific Rim style movies without logic for the popcorn audience because that's where the money is.

I remember Gareth Edwards saying he didn't want a "Godzilla 2".

Agree with Villain. At least MOTHRA and GHIDORAH both deserved separate movie with the big G as their introductory part for this Hollywood reboot, IMO. Anyway, I'm curious to see how will Mothra & King Ghidorah look like in this next/modern installment.
