Hey guys...I know this is early, but my attendance here is a bit sporadic and I wanted to make sure I gave you all er good tidings or whatever - that's a thing right? well wishes etc?

Anways yeah it's been good to stick my head back in after a while this year and to talk to some of you guys again.

So yeah - be safe and enjoy the evening if you're going large with it, drink your water and make sure you eat something.

If you're staying at home, you're after my own heart...ha, pregnancy does not play well with crowds and intoxication sooo, we are staying at home, cooking with a friend and checking out the fireworks on TV, videogames etc.
Not to mention - crowds = I hate, so, works for me.

From myself and Spal - Whatever your plans are, I hope everything goes well - and that good things lie ahead for you all in 2014.

So what's everyone's plans for tomorrow night?

Custom dictates I enjoy the Twilight Zone marathon on SyFy all day.

A lot to look forward to in 2014: a new and improved HDC, Widener/neverending's Awakening of the Dream Beast and The Rubber Chicken Effect, a little MichaelMyers, and, if the rumours on the street are true, a new Battle Royale in the fall.

I'll be at work, probably all day. Then I'll go home, get in my comfy clothes, and break out the shrimp cocktail, baked brie, and bubbly. Don't know yet what I'll watch - either stuff in my Netflix queue, or some of my DVDs. Or channel surf.

No respite on the 31st of any month in a marketing job. New Year's party in our colony starts in 45 minutes. Thankfully I wound up all work and am home right now.

Wish you all a wonderful 2014, folks. May it be most successful and memorable for all of you!

Happy New Year everyone. Went to a potluck birthday party earlier, pigged out, now I'm home for the rest of the year, drinking coffee and checking out HDC.

I need to re-think my NYE dinner. Maybe I'll start getting Chinese food, too. Or, maybe Mexican. Or, maybe pizza. ::big grin::

Chinese food seems to be a tradition in a lot of places (especially Boston for some reason - i did a google search)

I love onions but they kill me - so i always order with no onions … so to make up for it - they pump the food full of celery and green peppers.

I no longer like green peppers

I like green peppers, but they don't like me. Give me wicked heartburn, even with Prilosec.

they break down too fast - so they suck as leftovers ..
