I enjoy magazine subscriptions.

I haven't had a sub to a horror magazine in a long time. I had sub to Fangoria for a while, but didn't renew.

Both of these are pricey, to me, so "both" is not an option.

I just wanted to get everyone's opinion on which is better, and which one will provide the most enjoyment for my buck.

FM = 6 issues for $60. That's $10/ issue, but I think I like the aesthetics of FM more. It looks a bit more stylized and classic.

Fangoria = 10 issues for roughly $55. Fangoria has more content about new horror movies, which is both good and bad. Plus there's always tons of full-color gore photos, which kinda grosses me out sometimes, to be honest.

I vote for Famous Monsters. The classier of the two IMO. Enjoy horror while keeping the feng shui of your house intact.

I used to subscribe to Fango but stopped after it started to focus on teen horror,Buffy,Angel and all that crap.Even the Twilight bollocks where main features.I just got sick of the whole magazine.

I started reading Fango from issue 51 and had a collection covering all the years after that, quite some years ago i can tell you.I buy the mag on odd occasions and sadly the mag is much the same.I doubt i will buy it again.

Fangoria for me, since I grew up with Starlog & Cinefex & was an FX freak.

Rue Morgue is my favorite 'tho. A really solid magazine.
