Hi everyone,
I have some of my ceramic Spirit Faces for sale on Etsy (http://www.etsy.com/shop/WallsofDarkness). If anyone here attended the World Horror Convention in NOLA you'll recognize some of them from there. Here are a couple of them, but there are more on Etsy.

These look really cool, Frank. Do you ever do custom work?

Sorry for the late response Michael, and thanks for the compliment. I do custom work depending on the job. Did you have something in mind? If so feel free to contact me.

Just curious what your process is? Materials that you use? The faces are quite cool looking. I do artwork, but mostly illustration and digital art, and I am always fascinated by sculpted work. I recently got my hands on some quality clay and am going to try my hand at some basic sculpture but the whole thing is foreign to me at this point. Keep up the good work.

Hey Bastion. Thanks for the feedback. These are made with clay(ball clay I think), bisque fired, and then glazed with various colors and fired again. I like to use older clay that tends to crack and gives a lot of texture. I work quickly with these to maintain a simple and primitive feel. I have more on my website, frankwalls.net.
