What do you all think of Hatchet 3 that coming out on the 14th? I think the trailer looks pretty good. If you haven't seen it, you can check it out here - http://horrorsquare.com/2013/06/hatchet-iii/
One of the things I like is that they don't use any CGI to make the movie. Silicone and latex is the way to go for blood and guts :)
Love the Hatchet movies....great throwback to 70/80s horror

I just finished watching Hatchet 3 and I found it to be fairly good. Some parts were extremely bad but others were very entertaining. If you wanna read the full review, you can read it here: http://horrorsquare.com/2013/06/hatchet-iii-movie-review/
Do any of you have additional input?

It wasn't so good, but then I didn't like parts 1 or 2 either. Well, I've seen worse. Adam Green can do so much better - just look at Frozen. The cast was wasted - Danielle Harris and Zach Galligan are so cool but didn't really have anything to do. Was great to see Sean Whalen and Caroline Williams though!

HATCHET III is the best slasher I've seen since High Tension. I wouldn't mind another one or three.

Part 3 was better than part 2. Part 1 is still the best imo and maybe my favorite slasher movie.
I think the Hatchet series is one of the better horror series from the last years.
It's also the proof that they don't have to keep recycling characters like Jason, Michael and Freddy.
Wouldn't mind more similar movies from the same people.
How's Scythe for an idea? Evil undead farmer roaming the countryside with a scythe, guy inherits a house from long lost great-uncle or something (=evil farmer), brings friends, ignores old tales from local folks, stuff happens.
Bam! We've got ourselves a movie.

I've never seen any of the Hatchet movies. I might watch the first one soon considering most of the people who has replied here seems to like it.

Bam! We've got ourselves a movie. Is the farmer looking for da hood? Ah, nothing beats a good scything.
The teaser vid for Penance Lane (from the director of Hatchet 3) looks mighty tasty.
