Anybody here actually buy those cheap DVDs by Echo Bridge at the supermarket? Lately I've really gotten into The Midnight Horror Collections they sell with all sorts of low budget indie horror films. Some of the films are pretty OK for low budget horror films, some are so bad they're laughable, and then you have a couple of gems like the original Night of the Living Dead and Carnival of Souls. Out of all the ones I've watched on the DVDs I've bought my current favorites are:

Night of the Living Dead
Carnival of Souls
The Terror
House on Haunted Hill
Decadent Evil
The Legend of Sorrow Creek
Meridian
I Am Omega
Grave Mistake
King of the Zombies
Last of the Living

The Ugly Duchess

I too buy these 6 or 8 movie packs by Echo Bridge.

If you get one, or maybe two good films out of the lot, you are lucky.

Some of the films are just plain terrible.

Usually when I see a cast of actors I know I assume that it will be a decent film ( but don't count on it).

Some of the films I cut off and just did not care to continue with. Some are just plain awful

Echo Bridge says that this the alternate to what the world really wants to see.

My favs are:

Night Of The Living Dead
King of The Zombies
The Devil's Daughter
The House That Would Not Die
Puppet Master
Mortuary
Quarantine

You pays your $4.99 and rolls the dice. If you are lucky you get at least one descent film.

Again, if like Echo Bridge says, that this is the alternative to what the world wants to see, I would hate to see the original!

Yeah I guess most of them are pretty crappy, but I kind of like crappy horror movies because some of them are funny in a way. :P But then you have some that are so terrible that they're not even laughable. Echo Bridge seems to have a mix of both.
