Hello forum,

My name is Bob, I'm a lifelong horror fan. My wife very often says to me “don't you own any DVDs or Blu-ray's that are not horror?” To which I reply, “sure, I have Planes, Trains and Automobiles.” LOL.

Anyway, I love talking about horror. I be honest with you, the reason why I actually sought this forum amount is because I am promoting a tabletop game that I have created called Spinespur. It is a survival horror miniatures game that pays homage to all the great horror movies. I'm running a kickstarter for the game at: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/97182592/spinespur-the-survival-horror-miniatures-game

I would love to have some of you come by and take a look at. I'm creating new miniatures all the time and to be honest with you, I would love to talk about some of the ideas with you guys here. There is nothing that helps create really creepy models for the game, then talking with horror fans.

So please take a look, let me know what you think, bust my balls a little, I'm fine with that too.

I'm guessing the miniatures are all 28mm scale? The game actually sounds pretty interesting but you are competing with a ton of really amazing sculptors who use kickstarter to fund their next miniatures range. That said, you're $38 and up rewards are good value, so I'm not surprised you reached your goal.

I quite like some of your miniatures, but no matter how cool your game mechanics are, I would still always make sure any miniatures you put out are compatible with other miniature games already on the market. Alot of people that buy minis cherry pick the mini's they want to add to the game format they are already playing.

Thank you for the warm reception,

I really enjoy this board, I can get all kinds of information on horror movies without having to dig through 100 reviews and find out that only 6 people know they're talking about. LOL.

@Straker: it's not the other games that gets under my skin, it's the very large and very well-established companies who use it as a pre-order system that get on my skin. When I started the line I had no delusions of becoming rich and famous. I did it because I love horror. It's a niche market for sure, but it's a market I knew I could deliver in.
