I suppose this is where I would introduce myself and explain my interest in horror.
Ill take you back about 20 years, I was five years old and my father(most likely drunk) thought that Child's Play was a movie a kid should watch. So I watched, and it scared the ever loving poop out of me, and I loved it.
I guess I really enjoy horror because it makes me feel something. (Well good horror does IMO) And I find horror to be more of an art because it evokes fear peoples most primal emotion. Which seems like something of a task. I have never really believed in love so chick flicks are out. I have a very dry and sarcastic form of humor so most comedy is out. And well honestly I have the same emotional range as my hamster. Hungry and sleepy (with something of an uneasiness around dolls).
So far as the rest of horror as a genre, I am a comic fan, specifically of Swamp Thing. Not totally terrifying but the art style of Swamp Thing tends to be true to comic horror form.
Another hobby of mine is actually scaring the crap out of people. Not Halloween style, just actively looking for the chance to jump out of something, stage a scene, fake dead... youuuuu know.
Also, makeup, girly makeup, drag queen makeup, sfx, robotics. It all really fascinates me.
So anyway, hello
