hey all fellow horror people!
I am a web-series creator, I have just finished working on a science-fiction series for three years. I have also just finished working alongside other animators to remake the first episode of my previous web-series into a pilot/pitch episode - currently the producer is off with that seeking investors, but you can watch it here if your interested. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Khz1F4l_uYA)
But it's what I'm doing right now that is the reason I'm posting. I've begun another webseries, this time a horror! Sort've a crime/supernatural story - this video here best conveys the feel of the series (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zyvDL4wqxLs&feature=g-crec-u)
Problem is, I'm trying to raise money to make this series through indiegogo and other crowd-funding websites, and I really suck at marketing, promotion, etc. So was wondering that if in the spirit of indie-horror there was anything anyone could do to help me out? Not asking for donations at all, just like tips about spreading the word? People I can talk to or sites I can visit?
This is my campaign page on indiegogo (http://www.indiegogo.com/arksville?a=1674911) (you can see how much I suck at this by the $10 I've manage to raise over the last ten days)
Help and advice from anyone is massively welcome and sought after! :D
