Are you getting ready for Sandy?

yeah.....they're really building this thing up to be the "Storm of the Century". Going to batten down the hatches and stock up on beer.

Frankenstorm there calling it....just hope it doesn't screw up Halloween for the kids

I heard the Frankenstorm name. They're also saying it could be a bigger storm than The Perfect Storm - the one they made a movie about. I'll be stocking up on beer and snacks......and cat food. Gotta make sure the babies are taken care of! :D

Sounds like it'll be really nasty. Stay safe with your families, my friends.

I live in the very northern tip of Delaware. Looks like I'm going to be glad I live on the third floor!

It looks like the worst part of it - the eye - is scheduled to hit on Tuesday morning. May not be going to work that day. :D

I could be mistaken, but I think the monkeyman is from around those parts.

Furry butt redhead can confirm it.

They're starting to do mandatory evacuations of the Delaware and New Jersey beach areas. Hmm, maybe I should go get more water.....

Best of luck! Stay safe!

I live in the New Orleans area and remember such terrible storms as Betsy, Camille and worst of all, Katrina.

These are most definitely not fun at all!

I admit it, this is starting to get scary. They're talking about 11 ft. storm surge in New York. Six to eight in New Jersey and Delaware.

I know ChronoGrl made it through OK. Haven't heard anything from newb. I have no power at home, but have power at work, so I'm here. I keep checking Delmarva's website to see if the power's back on yet. Nothing yet, but it's being worked on.
