Well the topic's pretty self-explainitory. I'm simply posting this because last night I finally got around to renting and watching Gingersnaps. I must say it was the best movie I'd ever seen on the topic...which honestly isn't saying much..but it was great. Any other opinions?

Gingersnaps is good.

I also liked The Howling.

Silver Bullet is alright.

The best movie to ever contain a werewolf has to be Monster Squad though. ;) That's a classic.

remember in Underworld? I don't think say 'werewolf' once in that movie, just 'lycan'.

Not big on werewolves, usually look like a dweeb in a bad Halloween costume, but Ginger Snaps was awesome!

That one could make me a fan!:D

Pretty much what I think... In the end, Ginger Snaps has some great concepts behind it, which is always good... Besides that... Well, Silver Bullet is OK, and so is An American Werewolf in London...

Isn't true that there is a Ginger Snaps 3 that is going to be out soon??? Is there anybody with info about it???

I don't remember ever seeing any good werewolf movies...

I think it's a bit misleading to call werewolfs lycanthropes, because basically the word means a person who sufferes from a disease called Lycanthropy. this disease makes a person think that s/he's turning into an animal, not necessarely a wolf, but some animal like a bear or a bison.

I hoestly coulnt care less about Ginger Snaps, I havent seen it, but it looks really stupid. My votes are on: Underworld,
The Wolfman(1941)
Van Helsing
Frankenstien Meeets The Wolfman
I love those movies....I think Hellboy should have had a warewolf, that would be sweet

The Howling was ok as was Gingersnaps (But not as good as people say, at all), but in general werewolf movies are not very good!!!
