Hello,
I'm excited to be a part of horror.com! I'm new (obviously)! I'm a MFA Film Production student at the University of Southern California, and I want to make horror and sci fi movies!!! I love psychological horror and traditional creature features (alien, the fly, the host, etc.)
Pleased to meet you all!!!

Hello, and welcome. We have quite a few aspiring filmmakers here. Myself and another member, Disease, are currently attending film school.

Hi fortunato and Disease, are you guys located in LA?
I'm looking for crew/help on a current horror project with other grad students from USC Film & TV Production Program and The Peter Stark Producing Program, shooting this summer:

It'll be really fun, let me know if you're interested!!!

I would love to help, but unfortunately I'm not in LA just yet.
I checked out your Kickstarter, though; looks very interesting! What are you shooting on? How long will it be?

We will be shooting on Canon 7D with separately recorded sound on Rode and Zoom H4N to be synched later. It'll probably be around 7-10 minutes...

That's great. I just DPed a friend's film this past March, and we shot on the 7D.
Well, it sounds like a very cool project. Best of luck, and I'm keen to see it when you're finished.

Cool! I'm happy say that the talented Tommy Pietch, (from SyFy channel's Face Off, Season 3, airing in August) has joined our crew as special effects makeup artist for my project, Sink!
