OKAY! I figured out something to finally start my own thread! Don't know if it's been done in the past, but if so I wasn't here then so here goes............What do ya want to know about a horror flik? I have one in mind to start.
I can't remember for sure cause it's been a while since I watched them, but, in one of the Friday the 13th movies, part 2 or 3 maybe, (the one with the skinny red head that wears a mask to scare his friends) a few of the counselors go to a local bar and eventually they start to leave except the red head who stays till closing. The last you see of him he asks the bartender if there's a bar that is still open and heads out to go to the bar. They never show him again. He doesn't get killed, and they never mention him again, not even when it's over and the cops are talking about the only survivor, who can't be the only survivor because they don't show the red head getting killed, so he must still be alive. Any ideas on what happened to that character? It always puzzled me. No one I know could ever explain it either! Did the makers forget him? I would like to know this UNKNOWN!

Any Ideas on my unknown--Do you have your own unknown?
Do ya think this is a good idea for a thread?
Hmmm....I have them all and have seen them many many times. I can't recall a red head going to a bar and never returning. The character sounds similar to Shelley from part III only because he continuously scares his friends with a mask. Perhaps it is in part 2 because I have seen it less than the others but I don't think it is.

It's definitely in Part 2. I think the other guys on the board are assuming by red head that you mean a chick. But you're talking about the freakishly weird skinny guy that gets the couple's truck towed in the beginning. I think the writer just wanted another character to survive. In fact, many characters never come back from their night on the town.

yeah that is right most of the people that got killed were the ones that stayed..

I would like to know why writers always make the victim run like hell and the killer walk and still catch up to kill them.. I guess to make writing more easy or something..

Apparently Jason doesn't believe in continuity.

That was just a vision the main chick had. He did not really turn into a boy:D

Another person we never saw what happend to was Paul from Friday the 13th part 2 he was the last guy alive but then just vanished. What really happend though was the actor just walked off the set.

That's a strong possibility. All the big slashers have fucked up their storylines beyond recognition. The only one that had any kind of continuity was the Nightmare series but Freddy vs. Jason messed that one up too.

what I want to know is in the movies they always make the people run upstairs if they are inside instead of out the door.
What is with that?
And also the best movies are normally the ones that don't earn alot of money or don't make a sequal!

He was still blown up by the FBI and someone ate his heart. Then they sent his ass to hell and BAM he's magically back in Crystal Lake for Jason X.

I guess to make writing more easy or something..
Or it is because the victoms are to stupid to run a way that leads to safety they always run the way that leads to death so the killer doesn't need to run.

I'd really like to believe that, but I'm not buying it. So, if you have an answer for that, where in the hell does New Nightmare fit in?

Halloween has followed a continuity, hasn't it? They just haven't covered the offsprings yet (maybe on purpose)! And Friday the 13th did till recently with the last several. However, Friday the 13th obviously forgot to write in a few disappearances from the sound of it. But knowing all this still doesn't tell me what happened to the red head (and yes avenger is right, the skinny red head GUY that scares everyone with the mask)! Dumb writers! Guess I'll never know!
And the stupid people that run upstairs, or don't run when they should, or you know... all the things we yell at the screen for, that's so there will be a movie, cause if they didn't do those stupid things...who would get killed?! Then there wouldn't be any scary movies.
:o And now I shall apologize for "samara"! She's young and not used to posting. She's just not good with putting things in print! Maybe she'll catch on She just wants to pick on people, cause that's how she is (argues with anyone)! She is my little demon, and I have to live with it!! Just overlook her if she annoys ya too much! :o

Because that girl kept having visions of Jason as a boy that was not the only one and it would not make any sense if he just turned into a boy for know reason.

It does'int fit in it was just a spin off. It does not tie in with the noes series because in this movie the freddy movies are just movies and the actors play themselfs.

Halloween lost it's continuity with part 3. Then again with H2O. I think Friday the 13th lost it's with Jason Goes to Hell. If Jason was killed in a Manhattan sewer, how in the hell did he get back to Crystal Lake and get fat? And IMO, Nightmare just lost it's recently with Freddy vs. Jason. I loved New Nightmare and it was a great way to end the series. Don't get me started on TCM.

Nahh I dont think there is that many dumb people being run after with big men with machets, axes, knives to just walk.. I still dont understand why a lot of the writers write this shit this way....Even though I am a Jason fan, most of his movies are like this.. But I could understand in Nightmare movies...

Yeah, like the dumb chick in Jason 7 I think, where the guy is in the basement getting killed by Jason and yelling at her to run. What does she do? Stands at the top of the stairs til he's done screaming and then tries to go downstairs. Come on! He's dying so she can get away, but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO she has to blow her chance! I guess only in the movies, huh!!?!!

yeah LOL what gets me is they`ll be standing there screaming there hearts out and then when it is time for them to get killed. They finally wise up and take off.. If I were standing there seeing someone get stabbed to death with an axe, I am going to run my heart out.. but it wouldnt be the movie without all this.. :D

Same here! Run while the running is good! I always sit and think, how dumb can they be, but just have to remember that the movie wouldn't be happening if they were as smart as I am! On the otherhand, I'm too old and too heavy to actually get away, but I'm gonna damn sure try like hell!

I just remembered! The whole reason I started this thread was to find out things ya didn't know! I need to know the name of the movie that started my horror love affair! Very old, B/W probably, giant invisible monster outside an old house with several people trapped inside. When the monster walked you could hear the pounding footsteps and feel the ground shake. There may have been an old gypsy lady in the house and she may or may not have had something to do with the creature that was outside. Anyone seen it? Anyone know the name? Come on you two cheaters (:Dhaha ) avenger and ritualistic, use your books! Help me find this movie! This has had me puzzled for probably more years than you have been alive! I was young when I saw this movie.

Could it be...The Fiend Without a Face? Here's the plot summary:
A Scientist, experimenting with telekinetic powers enhanced by a nearby nuclear power plant succeeds in creating a new form of life. This new creature grows in intelligence until it finally escapes his laboratory. Once outside the lab, and closer to its nuclear power source it multiplies. The creature is also invisible, so no one knows what it looks like.

See, i don't remember the beginning, i was veeeerrryyy young and now i'm well......not so young. I just remember what i described. And sometimes the pounding of the footsteps of this huge creature rings in my head. I don't remember a scientist tho. I do remember that they hurt it somehow at and could see the blood. And maybe at one point it looked in the upstairs window... put nothing else. Is that something that is available on VHS so i could check it out? As i've said before, this has bothered me for some many years. Every time I get to know the brains at the local video store (no matter where I may be living) I bring it up, but so far nothing. I just figured that this might be the place to figure it out. I just need a way to see The Fiend Without a Face to see if it may be it. I know I will know it if I saw it again. (did that sound right?) Have you seen this movie?
