I would personally like to thank Lee Widener for making Halloween a little extra special these last few years.

it looks like after a major computer crash , Neverendingwonder Radio Empire is no more.

Gutted... Since I've been a member here this has been a fixture of my halloween. The live broadcasts were always a pleasure, this is really sad news.

Not sure how much NE stops by here these days, but pass on my thanks to him on facebook if its not to much bother, cheers Newb.

Maybe he'll get the time to write another book then.

Always look at the bright side of my ass.

That's really awful. Hallowe'en won't be quite the same :/

Absolutely awful news :( Still got the signed photo of Brooke Lewis on my wall from NEW Halloween Radio competition a few years ago. I hope he's able to rebuild things soon, but more to the point, hope he's feeling okay. Genuinely feel like I'm mourning a person!

This sucks. I enjoyed listening to it especially during the HDC Awards. Sorry Lee

Simply devastating. To my knowledge, there is no alternative for Halloween music, at least not in the vein of NEW. Maybe check out Doomed on SOMAFM.

I do a couple podcasts each year featuring Hallowe'en-related rock 'n' roll and novelty songs and soundtrack bits:

http://weirdomaticwax.podomatic.com/ (shameless plug :D )

But I obviously have nowhere near the content that NEW had.

Cheers! Thanks a lot.
I didn't realize Ferox did one. I'll definitely have to get that link.

DAmn, Sorry to hear that Lee. IS there no way to fix this? I presume the server broke in some way.

I just did a couple of Halloween ones and a Xmas one - just horror related songs mixed with film samples. I intended to be a one off and kinda blew my wad by making them so long. The Halloween ones are 2hours long and the Xmas one is 80mins. I'll try upload one of them some where to give u a listen..

I may try and do another 60min or so one thise year. I missed the Paddys day one duw to laziness though (and who one listen to 90mins of Drop Kick Murphys and House of Pain interspersed with Leprechaun in the Hood samples :-)

I hadn't tuned in for a while, had no idea this happened, this is terrible news, I'm distraught!

Maybe this year it can be a collaboration effort of podcasts. Not too computer literate but is there a way to make one BIG one where mulltiple people can share their own onto one universal podcast? Still wouldnt compare to NE's but would be pretty effin cool.

Lee - is there way we can get this back up? I cannot believe it is simple computer error.

If you can supply me with a new computer, several hundred dollars for data recovery on the dead drive, we're good to go.
