It can't be any worse than what Rob Zombie did.

Disaster incoming. The Rob Zombie Halloween movie felt like a Platinum Dunes remake at times. I guess they want to top those remakes. I still haven't seen Zombie's Halloween 2. Not sure if I want to.

It was better then his first Halloween, but that really isn't saying much.

Zombie's remake was fucking great and so was the sequel. Best films in the franchise since the original sequel.

I just don't see the point of it? The franchise has been born, beat to death, reborn in a decent manner and now bought out again?

That's the problem with Hollywood. Too much money, not enough ideas.

How about spending that money on hiring a good script writer and starting an entirely new franchise?

Bay thinks he can take Michael Myers in directions that haven't been explored yet.

What I'd love to see a reboot of is Halloween 3. That was a great premise, but the execution was a little weak.

I can only guess that since Rob Zombie gave Myers a full back story that in Bay's version we'll see Myers loaded up on drugs as an explanation for his ability to survive knife and gun shot wounds.

I liked Zombie's first remake, I didnt' care too much for his version of H2. Actually I thought it was pretty stupid.

God knows what Michael Bay will do with it.

Yeah the second one was pretty lame unless you enjoyed hearing that girl scream for 75% of the film.

Michael Bay probably is going to make it an action/horror film. But then again he did not do that to the Freddy franchise. They do need to redo the Halloween series though.

I don't know personally what to think of this. Micheal bay has made some ok movies so far I guess but then again also some horrible ones. So it remains to be seen what he will he do with the Halloween story.
