View Full Version : Great Scenes
This thread will most likely die a horrible death....especially if the few remaining don't know how to post you-tube videos. But I'm going for it anyway.
Post some of your favorite scenes .....
this one is from Night of the Hunter and it always stuck with me.....not sure how they pulled it off so long ago....without .....gasp.....CGI

Haha, love that scene. Bill Moseley is great.
I've never really been a fan of their music, but I always thought it was cool that Primus used a sound clip from this scene in "Jerry Was a Racecar Driver", the "hehe...dog will hunt" line at the very end of this YouTube clip.
I'll go with a classic:

Wish they had the amazing tracking shot down through the building.

Such an amazing flick, Deniro and Scorsese at their best, if there's such a thing as cinematic perfection, Taxi Driver is it.

Great scenes. I could watch them all day. If I knew how to do it I'd post the sword fight between Tyrone Power and Basil Rathbone in THE MARK OF ZORRO.

By the way, here's a little tutorial on embedding YouTube videos: http://horror.com/forum/showpost.php?p=919387&postcount=14041.

Great movie. It's a shame it got seriously overlooked. Did you know they shot every murder scene in the exact spot where they actually happened?

Loved those two films. There isn't nearly enough old school styled action flicks these days!

Great movie. It's a shame it got seriously overlooked. Did you know they shot every murder scene in the exact spot where they actually happened? I didn't know that at all. BUt when I had originally watched it, the scenes seemed really authentic from what I've read in Graysmiths book. I wish more movies based on True life serial killers were given proper treatment (decent director, actors and budget), instead of being some straight to dvd piece of shite.

Yeah, well what I think Zodiac did so well was capture the sense of obsession and ambiguity that the real case had. Not to mention it was really well-made. It was shot on digital, and it really works for the movie.

Good reinterpretation, but I can't help but wonder what Irving Berlin's reaction was.
Many great scenes in the Godfather...this being one of them

The way the tension builds here is absolutely incredible - I've never felt so uneasy watching a film.
