Monster Con in NJ

On March 9, 10, and 11 there's a Monster Con in Cherry Hill, NJ. I'm planning on going to my first ever monster con. Here's the list of attendees http://www.monstermania.net/MMC21_GUESTS.html

AND......I'll get to meet urgeok!!!! He's going to be there to cover it for Fangoria. I'm more excited about meeting urgeok than all the celebrities! :D

Didnt know there were other Jersey people here. Its about an hour and a half from my house. Ill be there the 9th and 11th. Cant get off of work for sat even though thatll probably be the best day to go. Be great to meet up with some of the HDC elite.

Home from MonsterMania. Met Robert Englund, Anthony Michael Hall, David Prowse, Nicholas Brendon, and - most important - urgeok! Spent most of the day with Dave (urge). Didn't get to meet anyone else from HDC. Nicholas Brendon and Anthony Michael Hall were the NICEST guys! David Prowse was also very nice. Will definitely do this again!

Aw, that's a shame. I've seen interviews with him too and he always seems really gracious and talkative.
I'll never forget (and I know I've shared this story around here before) meeting Tom Savini, who was my idol from ages 9-15, four or five years ago at a horror con. It broke my heart, though, because he was the biggest prick in the whole place. He wouldn't really talk to anyone; he was acting really smarmy. It was a shame. I was bummed out.

These are great pictures, though, hammer! Looks like you a had a great time. Did you buy any cool bootlegs or merch or anything?

I didn't think anything of it until I met the others and saw how nice and friendly they were. Especially Nicholas Brendon, he was such a sweetheart. Picked up some DVDs and t-shirts, nothing bootleg tho.

really bummed i couldnt go. Completely enthralled with special efx and was wondering if anything of that aspect was there. Besides the obvious it was the real reason why i wanted to go.
