After watching various sports faithfully with my husband for the past 25 years, I still remain a casual fan with no strong loyalties. This year I guess I'll support the Giants as they're the underdog. And Eli Manning is a sweet young man.:D

I'll be watching the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet. Half time show of kittens!
as a resident of NY I suppose I'll root for the Giants. I'm actually not that into the game this year although I think it might be a game that lives up to all the hype as both teams are very good and in ways very different. NE is so consistent and systematic. NYG are on a hot streak and playing above themselves.

@Zero - I'm from New York as well. I can't help but get caught up in the excitement. I wonder what things would be like if the Jets make it to the Super Bowl?:eek:
@Hammer - I watch the puppy bowl whenever my husband is out with friends for the big event.:D
I'm not the biggest sports fan but I do get caught up in all the hype...and being from New England I have NO choice

Happy Super Sunday to you Wicker and all forum members.
I'll go for the Jets and Eli Manning. Eli is the son of former Saints Quarterback Archie Manning.
And believe it are nnot afters 40 years the New Orleans Saints won the Superbowl and has been a winning team after that.
In the past the Saints were the laughing stock of the league.
Well, here I am all ready to watch the Super Bowl with drink in hand. Wish I could get some of those Bloody Mary's that Fortunato made the other night at the awards! Lol!

Well, the game is being telecast here at about 10am Monday morning. So unfortunately I will be at work and can't watch it live.
But will Tivo it and watch on Monday night.
