MACABRE TIMES is a magazine which covers the gothic and the supernatural in all aspects of literature and cinema. This premiere issue features Bram Stoker, with news of several recent record-breaking auction prices for Dracula.
Also included is The Story of Jella and the Macic (1895), a rare Slavic vampire tale by Professor P.Jones, published two years before Dracula. There are also features on the classic Varney the Vampyre, writer Adrian Ross, new films and obituaries, together with lists of books for sale in the ghostly and gothic genres (following the style of the much missed Book & Magazine Collector). Similar lists are invited for inclusion in the next issue of Macabre Times, due to appear in early 2012.
