Hey Everyone,
I guess I finally got sick of being the only guy I knew that liked or was even interested in horror movies. So here I am. I'm hoping that I'll be able to make some new friends and get involved in some fun conversations.
I am probably going to be pretty unpopular because I am a bit of a purist at heart--to me it doesnt matter how many superheroes they slap fangs on Vampire's are still going to Nocturnal Marauders of the Night shackled by an immortal curse.
I am not a big fan of Slasher films (I've watched the original Halloween film 5 times and I just don't get it, it seems poorly written though I love Friday the 13th and most of the Nightmare on Elm Street Flicks) and for some reason I may never know I can't stand to watch anything that involves dead children, evil babies, killing babies, poisoning babies, or any of the SAW films. Yeah, I'm a wuss. I guess I'm just not desensitized enough. It doesn't scare me I just find it... unpleasant.
I am a big fan of Interview with a Vampire (although Queen of the Damned made me want to wrench out my guts and hang myself with them), my favorite horror movie of all time is the Frankenstein miniseries made in 2004(?) staring Luke Goss, Alec Newman, Julie Delpy, William Hurt, and Donald Sutherland. I am a big fan of Stephen King and own nearly all his films and I own both seasons of Masters of Horror (most of which are incredible if you enjoy anthologies.) I am also very partial to the work of H.P Lovecraft and boobs, love boobs. Who doesn't right?
Just thought I'd through that in there to see if you were still reading.
Well, I guess that's it. :)
