So I was clearing junk off my pc, and noticed there was a rolling demo of a game called "Drake". I think there was some kind of subtitle, but I can't remember it...
You're somehow triad involved, you look kinda like an undead evil guy...and your triad (the something dragons...) has been nearly totally wiped out - so I guess you gotta go "avenge" them...
The "in-game" rolling demo looked awesome....think something like a hybrid of Max Payne and XIII.
Yep, it's a cell shaded Max payne. I can't say shit about what it's like as yet, but I AM gonna get it.
Anyone seen/heard anything about it??
Anyone good at finding stuff - feel free to post a link...

Well I've never played Drake and don't think I want to. I think that Nightmare Creatures is a pretty scary game and shouldn't be played in the dark, also Blood II is really scary and hard. I find that Ghost Hunter on PS2 is scary and difficult for the mind to comprehend in some parts. I think that those that really like scary games should try this one.

Just as I would reccomend "Drake of the 99 Dragons"
to anyone who's into Max Payne and/or cel shaded games.
If you're into horror-ish games, one new one you should check out is "Painkiller"....
agreed on nightmare creatures, that WAS pretty cool, did you play the sequel?
I also liked blood 1, but my copy of #2 didn't work on my pc....ah, the perils of piracy....

Yeah I think I might try Painkiller, Blood 1 is ok but not as scary and thrilling as #2. Well Nightmare Creatures is a game that makes your skin crawl #2 is like twice as scary, I played it like once and totallly freaked out then again that's what I like about playing scary games it's scary!
Did anyone ever play Doom that's not really scary but is still good for going around killing aliens and stuff.

Man, I think pretty much everyone had played doom in one form or another...
Yeah, Nightmare creatures 2 I found a little more "disturbing"...
All I can remember is that I saw the intro in which you were some nutcase guy in an asylum, you get a vision, escape, go totally apeshit and start chopping shit up...I thought this has gotta be good..
I don't think it was the same characters from the first one, was it?
The "fatality" kinda moves were pretty damn cool...
There was a slightly similar game that wasn't very horror based but still quiet fun called deathtrap dungeon, u play that? (ps1/pc)
Definately try painkiller...at least d/l a demo or something, I'm sure that'd convince u 100%, if ur into horror/disturbed looking games, you'll love it...

Yeah I played Death Trap Dungeon on PC it was ok but kind of a confusing game to play. I'll take your word for it and play Painkiller. It's sounds like my kind of game.

Well have you played Ghost Hunter on PS2, I have and it's really cool, I think that it should be made for PC as well. I like to play games on PC rather than playstation. Anyway the only meaning that I find in horror/scary games is the difficulty it entails and also the thrills that it puts on a person. Well I think that you should try Ghost Hunter it's a cool game so is Doom 2.

I think I've seen the game Ghost hunter, but it's not yet come out on pc...here's a few of my favourite horror-based games...
-Illbleed on Dreamcast (so chances are if you havent played it, you wont..) the game had a very creative concept, "kinda" similar to eternal dark.
- Clock tower on ps1, I think theres a 2nd and 3rd now.
- Zombies ate my neighbours on sega genesis/ snes
- Clive Barkers: Undying on pc
These two dont exactly fit the bill for "horror", but they were respectively quiet disturbing and scary:
American Mcgees Alice
Half-Life...SOOO waiting for #2.

Yeah I know that Ghost Hunter isn't on PC yet and I hope it comes on soon. It really gets your heart racing, very scary. Well I've played Zombies Ate My Neighbours it's cool but goes on forever I haven't finished it yet. I hate the werewolves they are hard to pass.
Halflife is cool and I heard that #2 was coming out soon, I can't wait to play it. I haven't tried any of the others but I think I might soon.
