Okay, so I have customers at work that use Mac computers and they have told me that they cannot right click. I have no Mac to test this on, but I read online that if you have a mouse or laptop with only one clicking button, you can hold the control key and click to pull up command windows like a right click. Is this correct?

Thank you so much for confirming for me!

Umm, yeah, what's really shocking is how MANY don't know how to do this...

I need to learn how to use a Mac. Always steered clear of them but lots of workplaces seem to be using them now.

Mostly just design and sound/video use Macs - the majority of Offices tend to be PC based. I don't think office I've seen use Mac servers (I never seen them) but Server 2003/2008 seem to be popular.

I find Macs to be more powerful than PCs so are better for computer games. Never gone online on my mac yet tho bit awkward to hook up.

I have Macs and PCs at home (and a linux server).

They are both good for what they are.

PCs have the edge in gaming for sure. There are also some programs that are either only available on Windows or are vastly superior. (for example, WinUAE - the Amiga emulator - great on PC, terrible on Mac).

Windows also seems much more configurable. But OSX is just so slick. Especially on a laptop - OSX Lion and its trackpad gestures make web surfing such a pleasure. And it is nice not to have to worry much about malware.

I don't think I would want to give up either, TBH.

'better for computer games' surely not. If anything thats the one thing that a Mac fails against a PC.

you might have had a different experience but games I've been unable to play on my PC I've been able to play on a Mac. I never use PCs for games anymore-I get nothing but grief trying. I find it much easier using a Mac and I know I'm not the only one who does this.
