I know this threads been done, anyhow, I've heard alot of people say this was terrible, I watched it last night and thought it was really well done. Lots of scares, the story was decent and the acting was pretty much top notch. For those of you who didn't like it, I ask why? Answers like "it sucked" and "it was bad" dont count.

Well, the hospital was completely unbelievable. A movie has to be consistant. Either be realistic through the whole thing, or be fantasy and surreal. The director couldn't seem to make up his mind. This makes a movie hard for the viewer to forget they are watching a movie and get absorbed by the story. You have to find truth within the context.

Also, it was just too damn dark! The whole hospital was always dark,[a good way to keep track of patients] and even outside in the courtyard it was dark. It may have been for effect, but it was reminicent of some old Dark Shadows episode or something. [loved that stupid show though!]

The acting was fine though, and ther are alot of worse movies to complain about though. I'm sure a lot of people like this and will agree with you and not me, but hey, you asked.

I appreciate your opinion. I'm sure there are a lot we would agree on!

Someone on this forum, [SFF, Hellfire, Ferel Cat] can't remember which I was talking to, hated this movie and almost walked out so you'll probably hear from them.

I went into it with low expectations and it was not bad, but not great, just terriably plain. imo
