So, she's been acquitted. Would anyone like to discuss?

People on the internet have been blaming the jury. I blame the prosecution for not presenting a stronger case. Having served on a jury of a murder trial, I have every sympathy for that jury. It's not easy deciding someone's fate on circumstantial evidence. In a perfect world, every murder trial would be like TV and have a "smoking gun". In the real world, that rarely happens.

She's been acquited for now, we'll see if she serves time for denying information from the court. The only problem with that is the max is only four years. She could still be charged for it though, if I'm not mistaking.

You haven't been keeping up with the news, have you? She's being released on Sunday.

No need to be rude, I did say if I'm not mistaking.;) The max sentence was 4 years, but if you read my post you'd see that I said she maybe charged later at some time. Just because she's innocent atm does not guarantee she will be forever.

Ah yes, Americans out for blood and calling it justice.
A legal system is great to have except when everyone has already decided that she is guilty, and even after she is declared innocent people still seem to KNOW that she's guilty. I think she did it too. But I can't know for 100% and that means I can't pass judgement on this case just because poor Caylee Anthony is dead.
This whole thing has been a damn circus from the start and a good example of how witch hunts are still working their charm on the masses.

What makes you think that's strictly an American trait?

I agree that there are a lot of witch hunts WORLDWIDE but then there are also a lot of horrific crimes. I think as long as we don't form mobs with pitchforks and remember this is why we have a justice system in the first place so people don't take the law into their own hands regardless whether we think someone is guilty or now.

I see your point about peeps calling her guilty though she's been proven innocent. Thing is though, even if she didn't do the whole deed she still knows something. She didn't serve time for it though, because she'd already served time while the whole thing was being telecasted via tv.

Here in America, We love missing white women. In fact, its a syndrome .
Missing white woman syndrome If your pretty, white, & a woman. That's good news if you go missing.

The whole O.J simpson trial . If Nicole was a black woman, I doubt the news would care at all. It's really fucked up. But then again, people like Nancy Grace are fucked up. What happen to a fair trial ?
