Benjamin Weissman's Dear Dead Person is so fricking hilarious. I haven't been able to finish Matthew Stokoe's novel, even if I mean to. It's not bad per se, it's just I can't find the time to sit down and read(short stories are different on the other hand)...:p

I'd like to Read:

Black House
Everything's Eventual [I have it and will read soon]
Way of Reincarnation [Judy Hall]
Heart of Darkness [Joseph Conrad]
And... a lot of Virginia Wolf books. [She really fascinates me. Brilliant!]

nine9,

Black House is extremely good! It doesn't really get going until about 300 pages in but it's well worth the wait. If you've read the Talisman it's even more enjoying. There is some good gore in the story. I highly recommend it.

Hi Horrorfiend!

Yes I loved The Talisman, one of my favorite books, but it took me awhile to get into that one too. In Black House, are there the same characters, and do they go back to that other world?

I really haven't heard a lot about it. Only that it is good.

The only returning character is Jack Sawyer (in his 30's) and yes, he does return to the Territories.

That should keep me busy from now until the end of the summer. Menoch the devil gives one of the coolest explanations for monotheistic religions ive ever encountered. Sweet thing is you dont need to read the earlier books to get the book.

Dreamcatcher was one of SK's worst books IMO. Had potential, then got incredibly silly, but read it anyway, I did!

I agree the Dreamcatcher sucked. I have friends who loved it. The movie sucked too, but i watched it. I guess knowing king wrote it i expected better.

I would really like to finish reading IT. I got like 25% of the way through it. THought it was way better than the movie though....basically because i wont have to sit through another cheesy clamation sequence again......

when I read it I actually visualized it, and not with John Ritter either lol...
Sad what Happened to him...
But I'm sure Tim "Dr. Frankenfurter" Curry Makes a great Pennywise...

I'm currently reading Night in the Lonesome October by Richard Laymon. It's okay ... not so great. I'm about halfway through and there hasn't been more than one terrifying scene.

Up next:

City Infernal and Infernal Angel, both by Edward Lee.
