What, in your opinion, is the best horror movie ever?
I put Puppetmaster, Childs Play, and Leprechaun together because I didn't think they'd get that many votes anyways, but if I left one out, someone would undoubtably say "Why don't you have Child's Play on there?" or something like that.

I think that the best and most awesome movie that was ever made but could do with with some more special effects has to be the Hellraiser series. I rocks and shouldn't be put down as it has ultimate horror in store for the most unwary watcher. Make sure you see Hellraiser Inferno it is the best one of the lot and shouldn't be missed!

Nah the one where he goes to the church is III Hell on earth. Happy are those who come to my supper. Inferno is the movie with the prostitute and the engineer

Yeah it is. I still think its cool. Hellraiser 3 is also cool but Inferno is a lot better in my opinion. What is your favourite movie AMarylandpsycho?
I think that Night of the Living Dead is ok apart from the fact that it is low budget and old but then again so is the Hellraiser series or the first two anyway. Old but not low budget in my opinion. I think that they should make another one it's the kind of movie that can be dragged on and on without getting too boring.

I think that the Exorcist is an ok movie. I saw it like three years ago and I think that it definitely needs some improvements. As for Leprechaun that is pretty low budget but ok in some parts. I like Childs Play and Dawn of the Dead.
Has anyone seen Van Helsing because I'm going to go see it when it comes out in Australia soon and I want to know if it's good or not? It looks good but then it could be something that I least expect.

I think that there should be a movie made with Michael Myers, Jason and Freddy in it then everyone might want to see it. Freddy Vs Jason is an ok movie but I think that Jason is better and that he should fight it out with Michael.

Christ, how many of these things do we need?
By the way, doing a poll for something like this is just fucking stupid.

My favorite Hellraiser movie is either Inferno or Hellseeker. I love the delve into peoples own personal hells.. I also really enjoyed Bloodlines.. Hell on Earth was weak I thought. Pinhead lost a lot of what seperates him from the other slashers in that movie. The first one and the second one were really good as well. Though I severly dislike the Chenard cenobite. I mean how does a new cenobite become more powerful then the black pope? Fucking Chenard.

I agree to a point about hellraiser. I love the whole concept of the moive and pinhead is for sure one of my all time favorite horror characters ever. But I think that the first two hold the position of the best in the series. The third was pretty good. Bloodline was a good knot tier. I dont remember, which was the one with the Chatter Beast? I remember liking that one a bit...but I am not posative which one it was.

Then don't read it/respond to it.
I made this post to possibly provoke people on this board to start talking about horror again, not for some jackass that clearly has no interest in the post to insult. If you don't like it, don't read it. It's pretty simple.
There's an old adage that maybe you've never heard, but should... "If you can't say anything nice, then don't say anything at all." No need to be a prick about it, we have too many on this forum as it is.

people talk about horror. And there've been about 100,000 threads like this. I'm almost positive that there's one on page 1 of modern horror.
*checks* Hey, would ya lookit that! There IS one, and they didn't make it a poll!

Fight Club, Seven and The Game are awesome! Alien 3 is pretty good. I never saw Panic Room because it didn't really catch my interest.

I see that Alien was not included on the poll, so I chose other. No soup for you!

Forums are for discussing what interests people and I think that if you don't like it then that doesn't mean that you have to take part in it. Insults get a person nowhere it just makes them less liked and I vote for Hellraiser!
The Alien Quadrilogy is really cool. Panic Room is ok but more a thriller than anything nothing beats the all time horror.
Pinhead rules and there has to be new movies made about Hell and the cenobites otherwise there is no way that there can be a good horror movie without Hellraiser.
Has anyone seen Queen of the Damned?
It is a very weird movie not really scary but ok though could have been better.

Ooops. You guys are right, I totally forgot about The Excorcist. I'll be sure to add that and Aliens the next time I make a post like this. (I know Sam is eager to vote on the next one so I'll try to get it up in the next week or so just for him.)
