We are all committed and dedicated Horrorheads in here. But when you stop to take a break from our beloved genre, which one usually tops your charts?
For me, it's a close tie between Science Fiction and Fantasy. Although I am slightly more inclined towards the former.
EDIT - The poll is multiple-choice. You may choose more than one, if you feel that you like any two or more genres equally.

This is a bad poll for me because I enjoy a variety of film genres... so I picked almost every one!

Same here. With drama and family in the same category, I wasn't sure how to vote on that one.

No romance?

It has comedy bits but overall I think it is a romantic story.

Most Dramas are usually Family plots, so I bunched them together. You can vote for the same if you want to go with standalone Dramas too.
I think, even with varied choices, at the end of the day we will end up seeing 1-2 genres taking the lead over the others. Not everyone likes a variety of genres - some stick rather strictly to 1 or 2, at most 3 of the above.
Like me. I went with Sci-Fi and Action/Adventure. My top preferences over the rest.

Family movies are generally considered ones you can take the kids to see while dramas are generally adult oriented affairs dealing with serious subject matter that the kids would be completely bored with- so I think of them as pretty much mutually exclusive from each other. Still, I voted for the combo because dramas are one of the genres I find most rewarding.
Harold & Maude is indeed a romance- but we were asked to vote for an entire genre, not a single film. I do enjoy some romance films- like Dummy or Wristcutters- but it has to be something out of the ordinary and quirky for me to enjoy it. The majority of romance films I don't enjoy, so I didn't vote for it.

I went with other as some films transcend genres-the only films I don't like are Western's.

I voted for Crime/Thriller because i love gritty detective movies. Especially ones where they hunt down a serial killer like Seven and Zodiac but not limited to those and i know that some people would consider them horror movies but really they're not.

Animation
Crime/Thriller
However, I prefer both of those to be mixed with horror
I can also do comedy, if it's horror/comedy

I like Nazi exploitation with Nunexploitation a close second.
Also comedies with monkeys in them.

Oops...I stand corrected. Poll edited accordingly.

Always been a more sci-fi nerd, myself. Ultimate escapism, yet it makes you feel somewhat smart at the same time.
