I'm sure that at some point in your life you have have thought about starting your own buisness. Now most of us never do this because we just don't have the know how or the resources to start our own company.

But I was just wondering if you could start your own buisness, what would it be? Or maybe you have a small side buisness to your regular job. Or you did have your own at one time.

I've always wanted to open a small theatre that show alot of the older horror movies. So that the younger horror fans could see the classics on the big screen.

I always wanted to open either a bed-and-breakfast or a coffee shop with homemade baked goods.

Would looooooooooooove to do that... With a pub next door and some of the shows would be 21+ so that people could bring in their beers (and also not be annoyed by youngsters - sorry parents and obnoxious teenagers). I'm not a huge fan of the theaters that have waiters - only because it disrupts the film for people who aren't ordering food... So you'd have to go out and get your own beer... But still.

Beer. Greasy food. GOOD nachos. Movies. 21+.

Not all of the time, though... I'd like to do special "kids shows" during the day for stay-at-home parents/nannies/daycares... If you bring in a kid under a certain age your ticket is free... I don't know - Something like that.

I also like the idea of having parent/baby shows - where parents can bring their babies and the only people who they are upsetting are other parents.

Other than that, I'd probably have a no-baby policy. People who bring crying babies to evening shows are fucking obnoxious (happened at a 10:00 p.m. showing of Autopsy... I'm not even kidding - What fucking trash - Don't give me the sob "I never get out of the house" story... It's 10:00 - You're fucking baby should be IN BED)

GOD I don't enjoy going to the movies as much as I used to - Friggin teenagers that talk through it (ok, that's not fair, there are annoying adults that talk through movies too) and obtuse people that bring in their babies at inappropriate shows and times...

I'll uphold a strict policy of NOT BEING A DOUCHE.

I'm sure I posted in this...

My Dad owns a cleaning company - not massively exciting, but it has our last name stapled to the vans ;)

My ideal business would match one of my growing passions, which is exotic cooking. Whilst we have some poorer quality, packaged foreign goods in the Supermarkets, what I would like is some of the more obscure, fresher, simply more authentic foods. I'm talking century eggs, all the spices of the rainbow, fish from around the world and so forth. Granted the prices would need a bit of a mark up and it would have to be in a fairly multi-cultural area to ensure sustained business, but I like to think as well as catering for the people who are looking for the stuff from their homelands, I could widen the pallets of people who may have never tasted these things.

We can't get a package shipped, good luck getting me on a plane, with cleaning equipment, transported to your house, clean it, then go back home... ;)

Absolutely, but the Sexy Nurse outfits cost extra.

Really? That's cool. Do you have a specialty, like Used Books or comics or something like that?

I'd like to try my hand at this sometime.

I've started to put together a small mailorder (distro) for punk/hardcore music. I'll be bringing along a table of stuff to shows and take things from there and look at opening a webstore. I've always wanted to open a record store so this is a step in learning the ropes of everything that's involved.

Have you thought about taking some of your poster designs and transferring them to tees?

...

BTW - Thought of both you and Ferox - This month's Fangoria issue has an article about Ilsa: She Wolf of the SS.

I would also like to assist in obtaining/constructing hydroponic setups for people for all purposes, all budgets and all spaces - Along with educate people about the products and materials involved.
Not everybody has an outdoor area in which to grow their own fresh produce, and it's really quite simple to do with the right equipment, enriches the diet and is a nice relaxing pass-time.

I'd appreciate the hydroponic setups-would save me a fortune-alas my tiny flat doesn't have the space.

Yes, we do actually. Books on transport vehicles, such as trains, aircraft, cars and seafaring. But most of all we specialize in books on war of any kind. One of the biggest selections in all of Scandinavia, as far as I know.

Hahahahaha

Never heard of it, but after looking it up on IMDB i sure would like to see it. That dude soo sounds like Angra. :D Not that I'm Angra in real life. Out there I'm much nicer. Angra is my Mr. Hyde.

There's a run down theater, actually two near me, one has only three screens and I forget how many the other has. But I've thought before about buying it and setting it for films, each week having a different theme. (horror, cult, musical etc. ) but it's way too big of a project and with having to get the rights to the films I haven't thought much on it cause of all the funds that would need to go into it.

Come clean my apartment.

I'll clean it! I actually like cleaning.....for the most part. Once I get into it I don't stop for anything lol.

Heck I'll go clean everyone's home, just get me there a couch to sleep on, food, and I'm good to go. :)

I have 4 - one for each season. You have to try better than that.

Throw in a sexy Gardener scheduled at the same time and you have a deal.

I probably would like to start an organizing business. I hear about members' disorganized movie/memorabilia collections, and I think how much I would love to go in, armed with bookshelves, and get it organized and displayed proudly.
