movies i've seen as of late: walking tall, the punisher, unfaithful, matrix3, and too fast too furious.
reviews: walking tall gets about 2 stars out of four. good news is his acting is getting better. a little too beefy for my taste but a cutey none the less. this, too, is a remake of an old classic. reminds me of rambo and roadhouse.
the punisher i think could give some kids some ideas. it was down and it was sad. the punisher was hot and did a believable acting job. it's right up there w/ walking tall.
unfaithful was hot and realistic and done very well, i thought. i know some of these aren't horror related but whatever...matrix 3, final chapter but to me leaves the door open for a 4th installment. the movie is just waaay over my head. i like to think i'm a deep person but i really don't get the matrix. it lost me entirely! too fast too furious was a bit unbelievable in some parts. a 12 year olds wet dream for sure. much better than the 1st i thought. acting and story waaay better. sorry vin!

believe me, not getting the matrix IS being deep
matrix is the biggest pile of shit ive ever heard in m life. they shuldve stopped at the first. i mean they make all these rules, then break them? why is it that the all powerful machine... is run by humans?
the truly sad thing is though, they have a philosophy book out now dealing with the matrix.. some quack wrote it. probably a loser in his basement who has watched the scene with the creator about 50 times in order to fully understand.. what bullshit it is!
anyway. im gonna go watch the 3rd. although my main reason, aaliyah, just foudn out shes not in it. BUT i do wanna see it, just to see exactly how shity it gets :D
so just remmeber.. YOU ARE DEEP FOR NOT UNDERSTANDING THE MATRIX!

The Punisher is a role model for an entire generation of kids, he's an arse kicking vigilante to be proud of.

13th Floor was interesting, had a typical Sci-Fi ending though.
Seen Dark City, and looked at your sig already. Have it on queue at Netflix woot.

Matrix even borrowed some Dark City sets.
I'm a fan of Dark City and the Matrix, Equilibrium was damn good.
That said, the Matrix sequels should never have been made.

the Matrix sequels weren't THAT bad guys, your forgetting some of the horrible movies made into sequels (ie. any horror series:rolleyes:)
Granted the first one left big shoes to be filled, and yes, it borrowed from dark city, equilibrium was actually released AFTER the matrix, BUT does own all over it.
I just like the christian parallels of the storyline, it makes it a little more than just another action movie. Not a big fan of the cg, or of Reloaded, but i liked the first one, and i like the last one and how it ended. No one else does tho....

with the matrix i think they weren't really thinking big picture just really cool movie, ya know. the 1st was okay. i've seen all 3 one time each and that second one in the room w/ the creator confused the hell out of me!! the next two after the first were cash cows and rightly so i guess w/ all the success of the first one..it just seemed as though they were trying a little too hard. story just got crazy to where i couldn't follow jack! ha! i feel really lame about that. both sequels were just okay IMO but 2nd did have a lot more action, which was cool!
hey! do you think keanu could explain what the hell was going on? is it me, or did the actors seem confused, too? ha!:D

hell, keanu has made a career out of looking confused, acting confused, and sounding confused. his face is in permanent "huh?" expression. the surfer dude role is perfect for him! i'm not much of a keanu fan...
