I.e. bootlegs?
Probably not, but I'll ask anyway.
There are a handful of kung fu message board members who make custom kung fu dvds; converting VHS only releases to dvd with covers, or subbing dvds which aren't available in english, etc.
I understand the martial arts genre is most likely much more international than horror, so maybe the demand (or fanbase?) is higher with martial arts flicks. Thus the custom dvds (subbing is probably the biggest reason for this).
But it really is a cool thing, so I'm wondering if anybody has bothered to make dvds of obscure horror movies available on VHS only? Is the genre that deep to even warrant it?
Thanks.
