I always felt Eron Tabor
was an extraordinary actor in the original but did nothing else since. ???

I avoided this remake after I was appalled by how poor the remake of Last House... was. You just can't recapture that impact a genre defining/innovating movie makes. They're always a disappointment. Halloween wasn't great either.
What next, Jaws, The Exorcist? If it ain't broke don't fix it.
I'd be interested to hear what you think of it when you catch it, and also those other remakes.

I liked the Last House remake it was well done - I will refrain from getting into another rant about the films lack of urine though.
I think I Spit was pretty similar. The revenger bits were a tab over the top verging on SAW type elaborate murders..
I think a Jaws remake would be great - with CGI they could make the Shark so much better and maybe even have another big sea creature in it like a giant killer octopus or a huge sea croc...That would be amazing. The CGIwould definally beat a big rubber fish.

Starting watching this but fell asleep will have to give it another go sometime. Gotta stop watching flicks so late at night.
Couldn't stand the Last House remake so we'll see how I feel about this...

No I haven't but it's apparently meant to be a lot worse than the first

I have never seen the original, but I liked the remake quite a lot. I found parts pretty unsettling and they really got to me. It's rare that I have that sort of reaction to movies, so I appreciate any that can make it happen.

haven't seen the remake but the original, but i liked the original. not sure if i will see the remake either, i sometimes watch remakes, and i do admit some remakes are better than the original, but lately i've been watching them less and less remakes.

I watched it last night. I've got mixed feelings on it. I liked some parts of it, but I wasn't really impressed with Chad Lindberg's acting in this one. In a way it ruined the movie for me. Anyone else get that vibe from him? Cheesy acting from pretty much everyone except the main girl tbh....

I have it, but I havent watched it yet. The OG was allright. To shed light on LHOTL, I liked both OG and remake. I just LOVE rape!
