Jersey Shore is a litmus test. Very accurate, apparently.

It's hilarious, and I have no problem watching it. Every time I mention it my boyfriend threatens to stop loving me but I keep watching. :P I even explained to him the importance of t-shirt time when we saw some kid walking around town in a wife beater.

Gonna be honest, I really don't like the show at all, but don't mind as long as it just stays a show. What really worried me is when they rang the opening bell to the stock exchange.
People can watch whatever they want, but I stopped soon as I learned it wasn't a sitcom.

when I saw it for the first time I was angry for the first 10 minutes then it quickly became my favorite show.
I wanted a shirt that says GTL, but then I remember that I dont go to the gym and Im ultra pale most of the time. :(

Well, you could always wear it ironically.

We have been making fun of people like them for years. The show is nothing new, except for the fact that now i have to deal with a lot more of em. Us "locals" call them BENNY's: bayone, elizabeth, newark, and new york although most of them come from Long Island nowadays. Whats great is now we go to bars full of people like that with all of us dressed like them, with wigs for the girls and a ton of hair gel for guys and fist pumps and everything else they portray. They dont find it too funny but its actually hilarious. All the show did for me was help me make a parody of it. It did bring in more business this summer for the bars I work at though. D-bags or not they tip better than alot of other people.
