Love The Munsters. Such a comfort show.

I wish this show was back on TV!

Yeah, you don't really see re-runs all that often anymore, which is a bummer. However, the complete DVD set is only a little over $40. I'd recommend getting that:

Thanks, I'll definitely be looking into this set. I remember every morning before school this was on TBS. I'd always watch that before catching the bus. the buses back then ran and hauled us to school even before daybreak. lol

Heck yes they did. I think I caught my bus at 6:40 in the morning.

wow! 6:40 is a bit too early for school. I used to get up at 5 every morning. And in the buses they'd turn the interior lights on because it was so dark outside. Hell, half my life was spent at school or on the bus. LOL

I did get the chance to meet the entire cast of the Munsters once. Along with also seeing the Munsters Coach, and the race car Herman had used in the one episode that had a coffin for a body. They all were at a place called Monster Hall, which is about 30 miles from me. I talked to all of them. It was a good time. I have a diecast replica of the Munsters Coach, which Herman Munster signed. I took it out of the box so he could sign it, then put it back in the box, and it has been in the box, for several years, and I still have it. The house I live in looks a lot like the Munsters house. My address is 1313 Mocking Bird Lane. This is no joke. When I am asked for my address, and I give it, people always make fun of it.

I love this show when I get the chance to watch it. I'm surprised we haven't heard anything about a big screen Hollywood adaption. I'm sure its just around the corner.

Meh. I never liked that show. That or the Addams Family. As a young kid enthralled with horror flicks, I took them as making fun of my favorite monsters, and I guess that got ingrained in me.

I don't think I've watched either more than four times in my life.

I don't like how my Dark Shadows and Tales from the Darkside got ripped off of here. I wasn't considering coming back, but a few have persuaded me so thought I'd check in as a lot of my threads are still here, are you giuys having fun with those yet?

though some forgotten and deleted. hmmm.....

I love how people imagine they're being persecuted and make unfounded accusations, always ready to sow some discontent...

Nobody's playing games. Learn how the forum works. Look at the bottom of the screen in any of the sections. See how the default display shows only topics posted in within the last month. See how you can use the drop down menu to display topics from longer ago than that.

Then you can apologize for accusing me of mind games.

I don't have to apologize. if anything. some people owe me one.

You accuse me of playing mind games because you don't know how to find old threads and we somehow owe you an apology?

Do you wonder why we don't welcome you as the greatest poster the internet ever found?

I don't give a fuck if I'm welcome or not. I like movies!

what's your excuse?

Well, let's look at the chain of events here:

1. You post an off topic message in this thread, complaining that your Dark Shadows and Tales From the Darkside threads have been "ripped off of" here.

2. I post a message pointing you to your old threads.

3. You get all snarky and accuse me of playing mind games.

4. I explain to you how the forum display works, and show you how you can find your old threads by yourself, so you can see they, in fact, have not been "ripped off of" here. I then ask for an apology for your untrue and unfounded accusations of me playing mind games.

5. Out of some bizarre and twisted illogic you counter with you being owed an apology.

My "excuse?" I dislike being accused of doing things I have not done. I fail to see how I owe you an apology for trying to show you how to find your old threads, which people have not posted in for so long they have dropped out of the default display. Lack of interest perhaps?

I remember the days when people didn't know what they were talking about, they stopped talking. The internet's changed all that, for sure.

you're nuts!

I just noticed some shit missing. i.e it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that some threads have been deleted. you don't have to look too far to see that. this place isn't "that" jumping! how do threads get misplaced just by a drop of a hat?

the owe apology thing, is where you as mods deleted all the name calling threads after the fact that I wanted to unsub, then my relevant message gets deleted!?

why is it that trolling is allowed here, yet, name calling and shit is accepted?!

nice way to run a forum!!!!!

I got sick of all the games here. all I was trying to do was talk movies. but oh, then there's a problem!!!!!

why do you even have a forum?

don't even have a forum then if you have a problem with people who post interesting stuff.

I doubt there was lack of interest anything to do with me.

if anything, there was lack of interest since I've not been here due to you guys bullshit games.

You're right- I'm nuts- for trying to help you.

And you're also right that I owe you an apology. I apologize for trying to help you. I'll never make that mistake again.

Some people just aren't happy unless they're stirring up some shit.

Wow that's perhaps the most irrational outburst I've had the displeasure of reading on here in a long time.

neverending was just trying to help and didn't deserve that shitstorm.

You just have to change your settings and the threads will show up.

The more quieter parts of the board threads fall off because of inactivity (e.g the Toys/Props section) but the threads are still there.

It's not a conspiracy against you and if anyone's owed an apology it's neverending for that abuse you laid on him.

Once again I find myself in the stupidity with these forums.

so it's okay for someone else to say whatever to me, but then I make relevant points and I get fingers pointed at me. hmmm...

I'm the one who hasn't deserved the hell I've caught since I first joined. but of course it's typical that no one will say anything about that.

honestly, the only thing I'm sorry about is coming back on here.

I don't have anything else to say.
