The British Film Institute is asking people to search for its top 75 most wanted (http://www.bfi.org.uk/nationalarchive/news/mostwanted/75-list.html/") missing films, including Alfred Hitchcocks second ever feature.

There would appear to be some interesting looking films in this list, a lot of silent movies too. Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing the first ever H G Wells film, The First Men in the Moon (1919).

Its amazing to think that somebody somewhere may have some of these flicks and not know about it.

Does sound good, an early horror film which, reading the description, had some influence on the British horror films that followed.

What was it with early 30s films and their love of mad scientists?

I hope they find them, its great when lost movies are found, as long as they don't muck them up by restoring them with bizare color tints and horible music.

The only film reel I have in my attic is SS HELL CAMP. I don't think anybody wants that one.
