In the past couple of months i've been checking out some foreign horror films, and to be honest a very large portion of them i've seen have become my favs.

I'll name a few that i could recall or currently have, and maybe there's a few here some of you haven't seen, and maybe you could name a few i haven't seen :). I'll update the thread if i see anything new worth watching. Not all these films are great, but they are definately worth the watch

Wow, where to begin?

I'm not sure if you're looking for movies made within the past decade, but Dario Argento's films are truly remarkable. My favorites:

Suspiria
Deep Red
Tenebre
Phenomena

Tons of great horror movies have come out of Japan, South Korea, and Thailand:

Ringu
Ju On The Grudge
Uzumaki
Whispering Corridors
Dark Water

A few others:

Mute Witness
Santa Sangre
The Devil's Backbone

Okay, I'll stop now. There are just too many to name.

Thanks for the list, a couple i haven't seen there. I've seen a lot of the older known films like Suspiria etc. Looking for more in the past decade or so

Cold Prey 2: Resurrection is an excellent follow up to the first. If you haven't seen it, make amends immediately.

Cronos
Oldboy
Downfall (not horror but one of the finest films you will see)

I don't think I've seen an Irish horror film. Surely I would've at some point.

Off the top of my head:

Dead Meat (2004) - pretty solid if unoriginal Zombie film.

Isolation (2005) - Mad cow disease film

Boy Eats Girl (2005) - Average Zombie film.

Shrooms (2007) - Pretty decent hallunionary slasher

Rawhead Rex was filmed in Ireland. SO was Dementia 13 (well bits)and there is an Italian Giallo (Iguana with a tongue of fire) shot in Dublin.
