This crazy bastard used to come on real late at night on the public access channel around the Austin area. It's been about 3 years since I've seen an episode and it's driving me nuts! This show was bad ass. It was filmed in the back room of some shady "member's only" horror themed bar in Austin.

Here's a link to the guys page. I've emailed him regarding the bar, but never got a response. http://webspace.webring.com/people/it/thekeepoutlounge/night_vision.html

His show featured some really obscure crap. I remember the last movie I saw him host was some Iraqi werewolf flick. Everything was horribly dubbed over and it was filmed in about the mid 70's. It was one of the coolest werewolf movies I'd ever seen. It basically spiraled down to softcore porn at some parts. It was pretty wild.

Speaking of softcore porn... part of this guys gimmick is they would take a break from the movie and the camera man would be filming this guy and some random chick screwing. The chick would be dressed like an old fashioned movie attendant with a little bell boy cap etc. Lazaraus would get up and knock the camera man around (who was dressed like a zombie clown) and would curse him out for interrupting him. It was hilarious.

The website makes reference to him starting to host on Fangoria... did that ever come true? I don't get that channel.

Anyone know what I'm talking about, or where the hell this shady bar is?
