I agree with a fair few of those, especially most of the top 20, although how Edward Cullen got in and Stewie Griffin didn't I don't know. Edward is about as interesting as a cucumber. Maybe a marrow.

Very interesting. I probably agreed with 31 of those choices (Top 100 lists are so difficult to make!!). I tend to find villains more memorable; just off the top of my head:

Anton Chigurh (No Country For Old Men)
Vern Schillinger (Oz)

Those two were awesome!!

Rachel on Friends was one of the dullest characters in pop culture history. Number six? Hardly. Carrie Bradshaw from Sex and the City as well and the omission of Agent Dale Cooper from Twin Peaks is a disgrace.

Hal and Lois (Malcolm In The Middle)
Steve Stifler (American Pie)
Hans Landa (Inglourious Basterds)
Stuntman Mike (Death Proof)
Gil Grissom (CSI)
The Butcher (Gangs Of New York)

Everyone knows you're a seventeenth century creation from the early plays of Christopher Marlowe. You're hardly a product of the last twenty years.

Many of the names on that list had their origins earlier than 1990.

Yeah, someone in the office clearly wasn't informed of the current year.

Another shitty list illustrating people's shitty taste. It does my head in how people dig mediocrity so much. Planet pedestrian

Of all the Friends characters...Rachel was easily the worst. Chandler, Phoebe, Ross. Any of them could have and should have taken her spot on that list.
