Hello Fiends!, newbie here, my name is Brian more well known as TypH I am a young canadian Comic Book artist/writer who does everything Horror! I thought I would take the time to show off some artwork for you folks an see what you think. Hopefully there something you like!

I am also a huge Tales From The Crypt fan from the movies to the cartoon an comics an classic tv show, so I knew i had to do a piece fot it sooner or later so I picked to do a Homage/Tribute piece based of the Tales From The Crypt:Bordello Of Blood Movie Poster!

Heres the cover art for the first story in my creator own series called Tales Of Dusk it's going to be a horror anthology series an the first story in the book is called Heartland Farm Terror (or Hartland Farm Terror same I think just differnet spelling on Heart/Hart haha) but yea the story is pretty much Texas Chainsaw Massacre meets Hills Have Eyes/Wrong turn I wont go into to much story detail intill later when i get more of a preview for it enjoy folks!

So yesterday an this morning I started a new sketch, called "Tell Me No More Lies" The idea behind this is pretty simple guy tells non-stop lies an sooner or later the evil from hell starts to take over his body an you have a "Tell Me No More Lies" victim. It was created very very randomly over the weekend but I have to say I love it. One of the reason I did it was because i've been doing comic pages which I can't show just yet so I wanted to do some for everyone to see,seeing I haven't posted anything new since the Nightmare On Elm Street piece. I also plan on inking it sooner or later not sure when yet. Might be the first of a selection of Creator Owned Horror Prints too, I will keep everyone updated on that news when the time comes.

Heres another sketch I did up over the weekend when I had about 30mins or so of free time. I never got around to finishing it, but it's so to be a picture of myself from the side if I was a zombie. At least what I think I would look like as an infected more of a Rage type. Of course it doesn't look 100% like me at least I don't think it does, an didn't bother adding a beard like I have cause I wanted to add more jawline detail, it's all just a practice piece for when I do more zombie art in the near future

Heres a quick sketch I did for Monster Makin'101 over at Horrornewsnetwork.net. This month was just a normal Ghoul sketch, I wanted to do something differnet so I made mine a Clown Ghoul, gave him like a broke nose an disfiguried face an what not, It took about roughly guessing an hour to hour 40mins some where around there, spent alot of time trying to make the hair look cool. I hope you all like it folks!

but I will have some big new, news soon!
Good eveing everyone! I just wanted to take the time to tell you about a campaign fund raiser I am creating over at Indiegogo. The campaign is called “ Fuel The Dream ” This campaign is to help further my education so to speak and to help my art career. The main reason for the campaign is to help me with funds to help pay off my tattoo apprenticeship “ schooling ” I have been accepted into a tattoo shop in town called Soulfire Tattoos. All I have to do now is sign the contracts and pay off the $4000 for the schooling so to say which will be done right at the shop, I will be getting taught the proper and safe way to create tattoos that people will love. The other $1500 will be divided up to my other art porjects and new and better supplies.
It has been my dream since I was 14 to become a tattoo artist and I am now finally taking the proper steps needed to fullfill my dream. I think my artwork is at the best stage it has ever been at and my general confidence an excitement to learn is at an all time high. I think this shop would be a great thing for me,and I think it would be a great career path for me too.
Now of course there are a lot of cool perks to donating money to help me with this. All the perks are art related, ranging from differnet sizes and such. Whats better then helping with a good cause and getting some custom one of a kind original hand drawn artwork. Also for everyone that donates thay are the ones that get to pick what I draw! So it's not some thing like you donate money and I randomly draw something, you get to give me your idea for the piece what ever it might be and I create it for you!
Now if I did happen to meet my goal and make extra money, that money would go towards, a new bigger scanner, art supplies and stuff along those lines. Some of the money would go towards my two new sketch books. One which will be a horror movie tribute sketch book,while the other will be all costum tattoo flash art! Who knows maybe I'll even throw in some finished books to some people who donate a lot! I also have a novel in the works so I would love to be able to get a good editor lined up to go over that too, to check over everything for me, but all funding first will be going towards the apprenticeship while the extra money will either go to one other porject or be divided up depending.
I hope you all will take the time to spread the word about this, the more the better, it really is for a good cause! I just want to be able to make the best tattoos and artwork possible for everyone.

Here are some shots of my huge Dexter piece that I did up, I am a huge Dexter fan so I had to do it, The image itself is way to big to scan so we had to take shots from the camera, not sure the size specs for this piece but it's almost the size if not bigger then two comic boards side by side it's really huge. here are the pencils for my new spider-man sketch, it's been a long time since doing anything spider-man related so I had the urge to do something up, looks pretty good I think, might add more to it later,don't mind the littler black marks, there's something on my scanner screen and not sure where it came from,so going to try and clean it at some point and time.

These drawings are awesome! I love the Frankenstein, Herman Munster and Dexter ones the best, but they're all great!

here's a small picture of my second Sketch Card, I tried something differnet with this one, and i'm much happier with this one, the scan is still not the greatest but I think it's much better then the first Sketch Card,I'm thinking about taking pictures of the cards with a camera later on,they might look better that way, just have to wait and see I guess haha, so I think i'm going to stick with this technique that I used and work on mastering that,rather then colouring the whole piece.
I personally think black and grey looks better then fully coloured but that's just how I am. Hope you guys like it!

NEW SKETCH CARD! Tiffany from Bride Of Chucky/Seed Of Chucky...I think it turned out good, still working on differnet greys, I'm going to try differnet colours for the backgrounds for every sketch card so far I really like the red one the most haha.
This was alot of fun to do though, my first time every drawing her so, might do more in the future! as for my next sketch card will just have to wait and see! The purple background didn't come out as solid as I would have liked but I went over it 4 differnet time's but oh well I think it still looks good!

that's actually a pretty good idea, thanks for that, I might just do that and create my own series of horror avatars, I did that with my Billy Van piece for my new DA account but never thought about doing it for others to use so haha. Good idea!

This is only my 3rd time ever drawing Freddy, my first one was more of the new version of Freddy and my 2nd one was just a small picture of him in my horror banner so. This one is based off of the classic version of Freddy, so I'm hoping I did him justice.

the first new sketch card is based off of Wes Craven's SCREAM series. I enjoyed the first movie alot, I haven't seen the new one yet but I found after the first one they went down hill to me. Ghostface is a decent character but nothing strikes me as him being a horror icon, but I still wanted to draw him anyways haha.

The next card is based off of Sid Haig from Rob Zombie's House Of 1000 Corpses. I actually enjoyed this movie alot, and to be honest with you I enjoy alot of Zombie's movies, yes even his two Halloween remakes, i'm not going to say they are better then the original, but to me they arn't as bad as people make them out to be.

holy shit it's been awhile since i've posted some new artwork. I've been very busy with the new place, and the new job at the tattoo shop and promoted to shop manager too so it's alot but i'm freaking loving every minute of it.
anyways back to the matter at hand, here is my first new piece of since moving here it's based off of Heath Ledger as the Joker from the Dark Knight. This is the first in a series of framed portraits that will be on showcase/for sale at the tattoo studio! hope you like it folks!

Wow, looks good. I myself am an artist, kind of, as can be seen from my avatar, just mentioning it because my technique differs greatly. Your work, although not really scary, has certainly much to do with horror.

a before and after kind of shot, the first image is my 2010 tribute to Bill Hinzman and the other image is my present day tribute to Bill, just a difference in my style one's more "cartoony" with more faceial detail while the other is more realistic with more shading.

sorry for the delay in new stuff folks, it's been a messed up past few weeks, first off to start things off one night our new people in the apartment decided to get drunk and end up fighting and pulling the fire alarm at 2:45 in the morning which ending up in me not getting back to sleep again, then that following Saturday I came home from work to find out that someone else had broken into our apartment, the thing is they had something stashed in the attic and they had a key for our apartment, went to the supervisour and our landlord only to be told they would change the locks sometime next week, pissed off I went to change the lock myself, now my g.f is stressed out with school and having someone breaking in, so I have been taking care of her and our new kitten, but enough of the yapping and onto new images.

next here is something I have never done before,here are two pictures front and side shot of a rough clay model I made for fun, this was made with some cheap Selectum Modeling Clay from a local dollar store, I figured no need to buy expensive stuff if I have never done this sort of thing before.I also only used my bare hands for this one no tools were used, but I am looking into getting some modeling tools because I enjoyed doing this a lot so I am planning on working in this field some more when I can.

new piece I've been working on today, started out with the inks and no pencil shading and just added the shading where ever I thought it would look good, I usually do all the shading first in pencil but I tried this way out just to save me a couple hours with the shading. This is a 8.5' x 11' piece based off of This Island Earth, Mutant...now onto the greys and maybe some color.

my 8th painting, and my first horror one, a tribute to the poster Gary Pullin made for Texas Fightmare Weekend, when i first saw his image I knew I wanted to do something like it, it brought two of my favorite horror movies together.
So here is my re-creation of his design. it's a 16" x 20" Acrylic on Canvas there is a bit of a shin in this picture, you can see the blood better in person i find as well.

The last piece today is a work in progress, a 9" x 12" piece based off of GHOULIES trying something new with this one, I use to always spend hours in the pencil stage because I was never sure when I would be able to ink the piece or if I ever would be able to ink the page, the way i have done this piece I just did up some rough loose lines and then tighten them up in the inks and added the detail in the ink stage as I am going. So hope you folks like it so far!

here is the scan for my first ever Galactus image...it's a 14 x 17 haven't done something this size in awhile.
scanned the top and bottom separately, both pieces were put together by britt...it's a tad bit pixelated when printed out, but I am very happy with it!
this is also a tribute to a comic book page a sort of recreation as you would say, also it looks much better in person i find, but that with every piece.
