Perfect Blue, Petshop of Horrors, Ninja Scroll, Vampire Hunter D, Paprika
theres a anime out about a girl named lucy who has a terrifing power...she can rip u apart with her mind...just cant remember the name of it??

Perfect Blue is really the only anime worth mentioning for this thread. Horrors a pretty rare theme for anime but Perfect Blue is one of the finest films ever made, period. Twilight of the Dark Master has some pretty horrific art but the story line isnt that in depth and its only a 50 minute movie. Vampire Hunter D and Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust are both worth mentioning as is Ninja Scroll and Blood: the Last Vampire. Check out Dead Space: Downfall, and Elfen Lied (show). Dont bother purchasing Petshop of Horrors its pretty campy and lame. And if you can get past all of the animated sex, Wicked City has some great visuals and story line.

Oh and theres a show that is written by the same man who picked up Perfect Blue, his names Satoshi Kon and the shows Paranoia Agent. You should also check that out. And another show, Berserk. Its pretty interesting.

Ugh Paranoia Agent starts out so slow but it is good, and fair warning to anyone who decides to watch Berserk: you will have to deal with some majorly homosexual subplot. *cough* Naked man water fight *cough* I couldn't really get through it, but from what I hear it really picks up at the end.
