Well, I love Anthony Hopkins. His Voice is like velvet.
OK, not a new concep, but so much of The Horror Genre is rehashed ideas anyway. Does it matter so long as it entertains?

Kind of. I'm tired of the re-makes. I'd just like to see a really well made new movie that wasn't a piece of crap.

Maybe that's just wishful thinking on my part. There has to be someone out there, getting paid a ton of money for what they do, that can think of something original....I'd even take more obscure.

Love obscure and extreme.
I think that the Japanese and Koreans are fare more original than the rest and that is why their are so many western remakes of their films. But if there is inspiration in the Orient, Why isn't there inspired writing elsewhere?

I love movies from the East as well, not so sure how original they would seem if we lived there but it sure is different from what Hollywood has been feeding us. Just this past Friday the University I attend hosted Wildwood, a film festival of locally produced movies. Some of those were awesome and original though sadly it had a small turn out. And there in lies the problem.

To stay on topic, I can only imagine The Rite ending in one way and it's because of that that I don't see myself leaving the house to see it.

Love small, indipendant films, they are so much fresher and raw.
The Rite, I think I would probably wait for the dvd
