If you think that the creepy horror first person shooter game ended with F.E.A.R. 2, then you were highly mistaken.

Warner Bros. Interactive has announced the third installment of the F.E.A.R. franchise and called it F.3.A.R. in which 3 stands for the third part. To everybody's surprise, this F.E.A.R. 3 is being developed by Day One Studios and will be available for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. This game can be expected to release in the fall (between September and December) this year.

F.3.A.R. is a covert and elite squadron of the specialized soldiers who are recruited from world's top secret military organizations. These F.3.A.R. forces are built to combat against the national threats of a paranormal or supernatural nature. Day One Studios will take the key elements of the past F.E.A.R. games but deliver fresh combat and horror experiences with this third installment. Horror mastermind John Carpenter will direct the cut-scenes with Steven Niles who'll co-write the script.

Point Man and his ghostly brother Paxton Fettel will return for single player as well as co-op player experience. With brother Fettel back from dead and pregnant mother Alma Wade with more powerful paranormal entities, Point Man with his squad needs to stop Alma.

Thought the trailer looks hair raising, let's not get drawn away by the fact that original developers Monolith have been replaced by the expansion pack makers Day One Studios. However, it would be fair to not judge but wait to check out what F.3.A.R. offers.

The previous Fear games were scary no doubt. But this newly released trailer for Fear 3 shows that the 3rd game in the series will be the scariest.

Why? Well, Alma is pregnant.

Which is only opening up more insane doors and possibilities for more Fear games. And on top of that, not only do you have crazy bitch Alma to deal with, but her insane demon seed baby as well.

In the 1st 2 Fear games, we only really got small glimpses into Alma's mind. But as she gets closer and closer to giving birth, she starts losing it and you become engulfed in her insane world.
