The wait is over as Famous Monsters of Filmland and IDW join forces to bring fans the exclusive debut of the full cover for the landmark Famous Monsters of Filmland issue #251, featuring Richard Corben’s interpretation of Count Orlok from the classic silent film Nosferatu.

The final cover premiered today at WonderCon, one of the country’s leading comics and pop culture conventions, held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, April 2-4. IDW is hosting Famous Monsters at their booth #519 and featured FM owner Philip Kim at their panel discussion today. The presentation included the relaunch cover art as well as information about the additional variant covers and artists for FM #251.

The magazine will be available for pre-sale at the Famous Monsters Convention in Indianapolis, July 9-11, and will be officially released at Comic-Con International, in San Diego, July 22-25.

Famous Monsters should have died with dear old Forry. You people are no better than money grubbing Hollywood producers trying to squeeze cash out of the public with endless inferior remakes.

If you want to publish a horror film magazine have the integrity to do it on your own merits.
