Amusing Idea for a Horror Movie

Okay, me and my friends are working on this small series of movies. The first one is going to be just an oddballish comedy called "Must Love Tacos" and you probably wouldn't care to hear the plot, all you need to know is that there are four main people and two stoner jahova witnesses. Either way, the second movie is going to be called "8 Slices of Evil" which is a comedic horror about a killer pizza boy who slaughters people who don't tip them (all in pizza related deaths of course). Think it would be good for a couple of laughs?

On a more serious note, while your ideas sound like they could be entertaining for a few chuckles, I'd try to keep them at about 5-6 minutes. Anything longer than that would be ridiculous.

If this is all for shits and giggles, go for it. If you're looking to make something that can be appreciated, take Rod's advice.

Well the food fascination is complete accidental. The first movie isn't actually based around tacos, it more has to deal with the type of relationships between all the characters. I made the title for the first one, but didn't come up with the second one, the other titles of possible future movies will not be food related. As far as it being weak, there is far more to the movies than just what I've explained, but it would be more wasting your time for me to try and explain the plot, because I have no nack for just explaining things.

Personally, I'd go for the one about the pizza delivery boy myself and I take it you've had some experience in such lines of work but how does this grab you:-
A Newton's cradle made out of human heads or:-
a human torso put on a spike in kebab shop?
BTW:-have you made any of these films yet? Look at how Robert Tapert, Bruce Cambel and Sam Raimi started their careers?

I like it. Sounds like it could be good for a few laughs. I'd watch it, so long as it didn't go on too long. Perhaps give the pizza guy some humourous back story? Why is he the way he is? Don't make it a deep look into his life, I think some stupid reason that shouldn't have as much of an effect as it clearly does.

I can not officially say how long we suspect either movie to be, but we do plan on giving the Pizza boy an interesting back story haha

8 Slices sounds pretty funny, however I didn't notice a reply regarding your level of experience on this sort of endeavor. If you want my advice, don't let your friends get drunk during filming.

Well not long, me and my brother have done short videos and my brother is currently taking a class on it to kind of help. Either way, this will be our first full length. Though if any of my friends were drunk when they come to filming, I'll beat them sober haha.

Well sure, but beating up drunk people is another movie all together.

Seriously, don't let your friends get drunk during filming, they'll try, and it'll turn into a big waste of time. People hate working for free, even your friends, and generally when people are not getting paid it makes them feel like turning it into a 'good time'. I have seen it happen more times than you are years old, trust me.
