So, even if zombie films are not our absolute favorite type of horror film, you don't want to know what zombie films we like or don't?
Your research model is flawed.
In order for a film to be successful, it must appeal to more than a certain narrow audience segment. I actually work in market research for the movie industry, and even when we study the release of horror films we'll collect a sample of general moviegoers and a "horror fan" sample- horror fans being defined as viewers who have gone to see a high per centage of horror releases from the last few years, and not just people who consider themselves fans of the genre.

Nothing that hasn't been shown before. Maybe a fresh approach. Waiting for an unknown indie director with a novel idea to hit it big again (get what I am hinting at?).

There's physiological horror. Videodrome, Tetsuo, The Fly. All Physiological horror stories. Also, your questionnaire is boring and I've been drinking. I'm not participating.

Tetsuo, yum! Tried doing a Dark Side of the Moon thing while watching Tetsuo once. Turned down the flick's audio and blasted Aphex Twin. Didn't match up like Wizard of Oz & Dark Side but the combo worked.

That must have been quite the experience. Try Flood by They Might be Giants with Nosferatu. It feels strangely right even as its blatantly wrong.

I'd like to see the idea of the zombies integrating into society explored more.
I don't want to see anymore comedy orientated zombie flicks that shit's been done to death.
Personally I think the only route for the subgenre to go is a TV series. I could see that working really well... maybe The Walking Dead series that was rumoured could be what I'm after.

Have you seen American Zombie (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0765430/)? I thought it was a great indie mockumentary...
