I think its safe to assume that the guy has more problems than just smoking weed. I doubt many people have been stoned enough to put a baby in an oven....

OMG! that's horrible...i guess the mother should also be blamed...i think she's also smoking some devil's fart that's why she didn't notice what happened to her baby...

This kind of shit going on is just embarrassing to regular green indulgent folks like myself...of course, this guy is something like our alcoholic...or equivalent of a person who goes on benders and causes multiple road deaths, smokes some ice/rock and ends up beating someone to death.
I think its safe to assume that the guy has more problems than just smoking weed. I doubt many people have been stoned enough to put a baby in an oven
That would be my first assumption as well, what ELSE was he on...I've known people to take prescription meds recreationally with weed and it takes them right off the planet...but who knows right?
It might seem the obvious conclusion that there was more in play, but I wouldn't say that there was necessarily something other than weed involved...I have known many a "pothead" that has been annoyingly vague and not able to employ the simplest logic to any given task or conversation, fucking idiots that smoke themselves stupid, beyond their actual sensory threshold and just go braindead until they sleep it off...
A baby in an oven though...what to say?
I won't accept this as an anti-weed tale of caution, more an anti-overindulgence, anti-fuckwit message.
Personally I would consider both the mother and father just NOT parent material...their inaction/negligence is tantamount to abuse...and even if it was just him that abuses recreational drugs, the mother also had a severe lapse of judgement in putting her child in this situation, with a person who gets that stoned while in the care of an infant....complete dereliction of the duty of care to the wellbeing of the child.
I mean, what if he's too fucked up to remember the kid is in there...he falls asleep, kid falls asleep, and she comes home to cook something that requires a pre-heat?
Pathetic assholes.

You feed a baby every day of it's life, only fair that it feeds you once.

Seriously, this is just like the 60's and 70's acid scare.
You saw the same damn story then. Either this is an urban legend or some dude with a history of some sort of mental disorder(s) who happens to indulge in the sticky icky once in a while.

Really shows you that drugs are bad,and they can really mess with you,and the fact that a lot of people are just stupid in general.

I have been assured by a very knowing American of my acquaintance in London, that a young healthy child well nursed is at a year old a most delicious, nourishing, and wholesome food, whether stewed, roasted, baked, or boiled; and I make no doubt that it will equally serve in a fricassee or a ragout.

He didn't bake the child, so what's the big deal?
