Hi Everyone,

This is the infamous and somewhat deranged filmmaker, Albert Pyun. While I know I am deserving of much venom, I'm taking a chance to welcome everyone to my new site of "cinematic" horror. It's at www.albertpyumovies.com. You can see how I mangle and butcher the medium with my traditional hamfisted style.

My latest possible piece of crap is "Bulletface". A sort of horror and crime thriller hybrid (you know how I like to confound my audience by mixing). Its about a busted and disgraced DEA agent (Victoria Maurette) who is sprung from prison and given a 60 hour furlough to avenge the murder of her brother by bringing down drug lords who are peddling a DNA altering drug derived from human spinal fluid. The bodies and addicts are piling up along the US / Mexico border.

Anyway, love the site and the readers. Hope you give Bulletface (www.bulletfacemovie.com) and Tales of an Ancient Empire (Kevin Sorbo, Christopher Lambert) a shot.

Best,
Albert Pyun

Runner? This no budget Albert Pyun you're talking to. And yeah, its me. Doc, what book are you talking about? Point me to it!

And please give me some feedback on the Bulletface trailer. i'm thinking about releasing some clips on Friday and your opinions and comments can help me decide what scenes I need to upload.

Thanks for checking out my new site! I'm a pretty old guy to be starting this whole new approach but its great to connect directly with the audience (or writer, in Doc's case).

Damn Pyun has hit the big time if he can afford a spam crew.

Will you autograph my Sword and the Sorcerer DVD?

Albert Pyun

Autograph, sure. Thanks for asking! Definitely if you'll consider picking up Tales in April (www.albertpyunmovies.com).

Actually write me at www.albertpyunmovies.com and we'll figure out how to do it.

Give my new film Bulletface a look as well -- www.bulletfacemovie.com. But its pretty rough with graphic violence and sex.

Thank...and boy do i wish I had a spam crew! Ah, the life of a low budget director.

Best,
Albert

Yup, that's how we do it nowadays. Considering this country's probably five points on the Dow away from being the setting of an Albert Pyun movie, it's pretty crucial. Sometimes it's a lot of fun, sometimes it's three hours of friending people loosely affiliated with colleagues loosely affiliated with colleagues of your colleagues on Myspace. The book is called Murderland part 1:h8. The link is here: http://www.amazon.com/Murderland-Part-I-Garrett-Cook/dp/1439200815/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1267116019&sr=1-3
As a purveyor of Postapoc low budget cinema, I think you might like it. By the way, when I was a kid I rented Captain America like six times.

Hey Doc,

The book looks great. I'm definitely going to order as soon as I get back home. I'm on a scout right now. By the way, i just cast Victoria Maurette for the last bit of Tales of an Ancient Empire shooting in a week. She starred in two of my films -- Let for Dead and the now available - Bulletface. Here's cool wallpaper the distribs created.

I'd forgotten you did Left for Dead. That was good. I wish there was more stuff like it. In a way, I liked it more than Sukiyaki Western Django, which it reminded me of.
